Porkly

Support

Porkly is made by one person. Every message goes to a real inbox that gets read — there is no ticket queue and no bot in front of it.

Email support support@porkly.app
Porkly is built and supported by one person, so replies usually take 5–7 business days. If you are reporting a bug, it helps a lot to include your iOS version and the app version from Profile → About Porkly, plus what you tapped just before it went wrong.

Do I need an account?

No. Porkly has no sign-up, no sign-in and no password. You open the app and it works. There is nothing to create and nothing to remember.

Where is my data kept?

On your phone, and only on your phone. Porkly stores everything in a local database on the device and has no server to send it to, so nothing you type is uploaded anywhere. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

The trade-off you should know about Because there is no account and no cloud copy, deleting the app — or losing the phone — deletes the data with it. Nobody, including us, can recover it for you. If your data matters, export it (below) and keep the file somewhere safe.

How do I back up, or move to a new phone?

  1. On the old phone, go to Profile → DATA → Export Data. Porkly writes one file containing everything.
  2. The share sheet opens. Choose Save to Files → iCloud Drive to keep a copy off the phone, or AirDrop it straight to the new device.
  3. On the new phone, install Porkly and go to Profile → DATA → Import Data, then pick that file.

The Export row shows the date of your last export, so you can tell at a glance how old your most recent backup is.

What does Import actually do?

Importing replaces everything. It is a restore, not a merge: after it finishes, Porkly contains exactly what was in the backup file, and anything on the phone that is not in that file is deleted. The app tells you how many things will be removed and asks you to confirm before it touches anything, and the step cannot be undone — so if the current data is worth keeping, export it first.

What is free, and what does Premium add?

The free plan is a real app rather than a trial. There is no time limit and no advertising. It includes Quick Track, today’s tracked time, the calendar, reminders and alarms, plus 5 items, 3 activities, 3 tabs and 2 of the Home rings.

Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It adds unlimited tasks, events, timers, activities and tabs, all eight Home rings, Budgets, a cap on your daily tracked time, and Charts. Buy it once and it stays bought.

I paid for Premium and it isn’t showing

Open Profile → PREMIUM → Restore Purchases. That asks Apple what your Apple Account owns and unlocks it again. It is the same step to use on a new phone, after reinstalling the app, or if a purchase was interrupted halfway.

Make sure the device is signed in to the same Apple Account that made the original purchase — a purchase belongs to the Apple Account, not to the phone. If Restore Purchases still comes up empty, email support@porkly.app and we will sort it out.

How do I get a refund?

App Store purchases are refunded by Apple, not by us — we never see your payment details and cannot issue one. Request it at reportaproblem.apple.com, or from your purchase history in the App Store app.

If something in Porkly is broken and that is why you want the money back, please write to us first. A bug is usually faster to fix than a refund is to process.

My alarms and reminders aren’t arriving

Almost always one of these three, in this order:

Porkly’s alarms and reminders are local notifications scheduled on the device itself. They do not travel over the internet and they still fire in airplane mode. If all three checks above pass and notifications are still missing, that is a bug worth an email.

Does Porkly need an internet connection?

No. The whole app works offline, permanently — not as a degraded fallback mode. The only time the network is used at all is when you buy or restore Premium, which talks to Apple.

How do I delete my data?

There is no account to delete and nothing of yours sits on a server, so there is nothing to request from us. Delete individual items in the app, or delete the app from your phone to remove all of it at once. Deleting the app is permanent and takes your data with it — export first if you might want it back.

Bugs and feature requests

Both go to the same place: support@porkly.app. Feature requests genuinely do get read and do shape what gets built next — a short note about what you were trying to do is more useful than a polished spec.
